THE POWER TO CHANGE

Every day you wake up, you have a choice. 

A brand new opportunity to write the story of your life and how you want to it read. 

You can choose to wake up and smile. 

To dance and feel a certain sense of gratitude. 

You can laugh. 

You can move your body. 

You can feel anything you choose to feel in that moment - the best version of you - every single day. 

That’s the magic of our lives… We have the power to choose exactly how it is we want to feel, exactly what it is we want to do and be and think and have. 

We can’t always control our circumstances - I get that - but we can ALWAYS choose how we respond. 

We can feel defeated or inspired. Deflated or stirred to take action in the opposite direction! 

We’ve all got stories. 

Weaknesses. 

Things we’re ashamed of. 

Things we want to improve. 

Reasons why we can’t do something. 

But these things are NOT what make us unique.

What makes us unique is how we chose to deal with the things that are holding us back on a day-to-day basis.  

We can shape our lives with intention and gratitude, or let life shape us. You can’t have it both ways. Well you can, but like a shipped tossed about in the ocean without a rudder or sail, so will your life be. 

I get that life can be hard. 

It’s hard to change your body or circumstances. 

It’s hard to confront those inner thoughts and beliefs that have been holding you back for all these years. 

But you are the only one who has the power to do so, the power to change your life and become WHOEVER it is you want to be. 

Will it be easy? Hell no.

But this I know for sure - It will be worth it!   

The life you want and know you deserve is a lot closer than you think. And it all starts with today. 

Make a decision to make this the best day of your life! It's always a great day to have a great day. But it all comes down to choice. 

Here are 3 tips that might help you along your way: 

1. MOVE YOUR BODY and get your blood pumping. Nothing changes our state more quickly then by simply moving your body.  

2. PRACTISE GRATITUDE  - sometimes 5 minutes of journaling is all it takes

3. CHALLENGE YOUR THINKING and any habitual thought process that is holding you captive to your current circumstances. 

Each of us have the power to change our lives, but it all comes down to choice so why not start today!
